If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we will send you regular information on our offers. The only information required for the transmission of the newsletter is your email address. This means that we will only send you an email newsletter if you have expressly confirmed to agree to the transmission of newsletters. We will then send you a confirmation email asking you to klick on the respective link to confirm your wish to receive newsletters in future.
By activating the confirmation link, you consent to our using your personal data in accordance with Article 6 (1), lit a, GDPR. When registering for the newsletter, we will store your IP address, registered by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), as well as the date and time of registration, to be able to track possible misuse of your email address at a later date. 6.2 Transmission of the newsletter to existing customers
If you have provided us with your email address when purchasing goods or services, we reserve the right to send you regular offers on goods or services similar to those you have already purchased from our product range by email.

In accordance with Article 7, Para. 3, Law Against Unfair Competition, we are not obliged to obtain a separate consent from you. In this respect, data processing occurs solely on the basis of our legitimate interest in personalized direct advertising according to Art. 6 Para. (1), lit. F, GDPR. In case you initially objected to the use of your email address for this purpose, we will not send you any emails. You are entitled to object to the use of your email address for the aforementioned advertising purposes at any time with future effect by notifying the person responsible mentioned at the beginning. For this purpose, you only incur transmission costs according to the basic tariffs. Upon receipt of your objection, the use of your email address for advertising purposes will be immediately terminated.

6.3 Sending newsletters via MailChimp

The dispatch of our email newsletter is carried out by the technical service provider The Rocket Science Group, LLC d/b/a MailChimp, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA (http://www.mailchimp.com/), to which the data provided by you at the time of registration will be transferred. Please note that your data are usually transferred to a server from MailChimp in the USA, where they will be stored.

MailChimp uses this information for the transmission and the statistical evaluation of the newsletters on our behalf. For evaluation purposes, the transmitted emails contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which represent one-pixel image files stored on our website.

With this, it is possible to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links have been clicked on. Moreover, technical information will be collected (e.g. time of retrieval, IP address, browser type and operating system). The data will be collected in pseudonymised form only and will not be linked to your further personal data, thus direct personal reference will be excluded. These data are used exclusively for statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients. If you want to object to the data analysis for statistical evaluation purposes, you have to unsubscribe the newsletter. Furthermore, MailChimp itself may, in accordance with Article 6 (1), lit. (f), GDPR, use these data on the basis of its own legitimate interest in the appropriate design and for the optimization of the service as well as for market research purposes, for example, to identify the countries the recipients come from. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write them itself or to pass them on to third parties.

In order to protect your data in the United States, we have entered into a Data Processing Agreement with MailChimp on the basis of the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission in order to enable the transfer of your personal data to MailChimp. If you are interested, the Data Processing Agreement can be viewed at http://mailchimp.com/legal/forms/data-processing-agreement/. In this context, the extended privacy mode is used, which, according to the provider's information, triggers the storage of user information only when the video starts playing. As soon as the replay of the YouTube videos has started, the provider uses “YouTube” cookies to gather information about your user behavior. According to “YouTube”, they are used, among other things, to capture video statistics, to improve user-friendliness and to prevent abusive behavior. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly associated with your account, when you click on a video. If you do not want to be associated with your YouTube profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data as user profiles (even for users who are not logged in) and evaluates them. Such evaluation occurs in particular according to Article 6, (1), lit f, GDPR, on the basis of Google’s legitimate interest in the display of personalized advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, and you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.

Regarding the advertising campaign data, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. With this, we pursue the interest to show you advertisements, which are of interest for you, to render our Website more attractive for you and to reach a fair calculation of advertising costs. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, then we and Google can recognize that the user clicked on the advertisement and was forwarded to this website.  Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. This means that cookies cannot be tracked beyond the websites of AdWords customers. The information gathered by the conversion cookies serve to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have decided to use conversion tracking. The customers will be informed about the total number of users who have clicked on their advertisements and who were forwarded to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that enables the personal identification of the user. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking, you can object to it by deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie via the user configurations in your internet browser. This means that you will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
